1. Roam App Goes Live on Solana Mobile
Roam is delighted to announce its launch on the Solana Mobile dApp store. This integration allows Solana Mobile users to connect to over 3.5 million OpenRoaming™ spots and earn rewards, marking a significant milestone in bringing a global decentralized WiFi network to the Solana ecosystem. By being available on the dApp store, the Roam app enhance the user experience and bridging the gap between Web3 and everyday technology.
2. Roam x OKX Wallet Giveaway
Our Roam x OKX Wallet Giveaway concluded with overwhelming success, attracting over 100,000 participants in just three weeks. This impressive turnout highlights the growing interest in Roam and the vibrant community we are building. With a wide range of rewards, including Roam miners, SOL, and Roam Points, the campaign was a great opportunity for new users to join the Roam project and earn amazing rewards for each contribution they made to the network
3. WBA Certifications and Recognition
We are proud to announce that MetaBlox Labs, the developer of Roam, has been designated as a Certified Access Network Provider for OpenRoaming™ by the Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA). This certification makes MetaBlox the only Web3 company to receive this prestigious recognition, emphasizing our commitment to providing seamless and secure WiFi connectivity. This achievement strengthens our relationship with the WBA and secures our leadership in the connectivity space.
4.Strategic Partnerships and Collaborations
APhone Partnership
Roam partnered with APhone to bring WiFi connectivity to all APhone cloud devices via the AppNest. APhone is the first decentralized cloud-based smartphone designed to offer an unparalleled mobile experience for Web3 users. This collaboration aims to enhance the user experience by providing seamless and reliable WiFi access through OpenRoaming™, ensuring fast and secure connectivity across APhone devices.
Coral App Partnership
In June, Roam also formed an alliance with Coral App to introduce OpenRoaming™ to the Coral Phone. CoralApp is an AI project that serves as a comprehensive platform that seamlessly integrates with decentralized apps (dApps) for finance, social interaction, gaming, and so on. This partnership focuses on enhancing WiFi roaming and introducing Roam miners, bringing new opportunities for connectivity and earnings. Coral Phone users can now easily connect to WiFi, making Roam’s network a regular part of their daily routines.
SkyX Network Partnership
Roam also announced a new partnership with SkyX Network, a decentralized data collection network that ensures diverse and widespread data coverage. This collaboration forms a powerful marketing alliance with a leading DePIN project and unlocks potential for future technological innovations. Together, we aim to drive innovation and explore new possibilities in decentralized internet connections.
5. All-Time High in Daily Check-Ins
Roam has achieved impressive growth, boasting over 464,000 active app users across more than 160 countries. A total of 321.6 million Roam Points have been rewarded to the community, which can be converted to $ROAM tokens after the Token Generation Event (TGE). Furthermore, with over 333,000 nodes globally, Roam reached a new all-time high of over 250,000 daily Check-Ins, signifying the network’s extensive reach and reliability.
