Roam August Round Up

August has been a dynamic month for Roam, filled with accomplishments that showcase the project’s continued growth and impact in the world of global connectivity. From hosting successful events to forming key partnerships, the Roam community has been buzzing with  activity. Here are the highlights of this vibrant month.

1. CollabFest 3.0 Giveaway Event

August kicked off with the eagerly awaited CollabFest 3.0 Giveaway Event, hosted by Roam and in collaboration with partners like DMC Foundation, Network3, Ultimate Digits, Admeal, Arkreen, Cess, Polyflow, and Cirus Foundation. This event attracted over 5,300 participants, making it one of the most successful campaigns on Dmission in August.

As a part of the event, a series of AMAs sessions had been created. Each AMA brought in around 7,000 listeners, giving listeners a chance to get dated with the latest news from many projects and engaging with project leaders. CollabFest 3.0 was not only successful in boosting engagement but also helped build stronger connections with other blockchain projects, opening doors for future collaborations.

2. Asia Blockchain Summit in Taipei

August also marked Roam’s participation in one of Asia’s top blockchain events, the Asia Blockchain Summit (ABS) in Taipei. ABS is a well-known annual event that brings together leading experts, innovators across AI, blockchain, and sustainability. This year, ABS2024 attracted Fortune 500 CEOs, investors, and global founders to Taipei, where over 100 side events and private dinners were held throughout the city.

Throughout the three days at the summit, Roam’s booth became a hot spot for engagement, with visitors participating in fun games and winning exclusive Roam merchandise. Moreover, the Roam Rainier MAX60 and Roam Baker MAX30 devices were on display at the Roam booth, captivating visitors with the modern design, top-tier WiFi capabilities, and attractive rewards it can generate.

3. 20 Million $ROAM Token Airdrop

Roam continues to reward its loyal community through a massive 20 million $ROAM token airdrop in August. This event was designed to benefit both early adopters and new members of the Roam ecosystem, driving further engagement and investment. To be eligible for the airdrop, members only need to own a Roam miner or Roam NFT to secure the share.

The airdrop garnered attention from thousands of crypto enthusiasts and significantly increased Roam Miner orders, as users learned about the opportunity to convert their Roam Points into $ROAM tokens. Participating in the 20 million $ROAM token airdrop goes beyond simply earning tokens; it’s an opportunity to join a vibrant community that prioritises innovation, security, and seamless connectivity.

4. Roam Airdrop for Saga Phone Users

To celebrate the Roam app’s launch on the Saga dApp, Roam announced a special airdrop exclusively for Saga phone users. This airdrop featured a total reward pool of 100,000 Roam Points and a Roam Rainier MAX60. The event received an overwhelmingly positive response from the Saga community. After two weeks of receiving hundreds of participation forms, a total of 200 winners were selected to receive the prizes.
